Good points. You missed irritant dermatitis which is another possibility. So if the chemicals or contaminants on the mask are either sensitizing or irritating to some people, they can experience a problem.
I'm looking for a chemical-splash type laboratory safety goggle for an individual with sensitive skin, who has experienced a contact allergic skin reaction when wearing goggles in the past. Is anyone aware of a goggle that is =E2=80=98hypoallergenic' or, based on your experience, less likely to cause skin/allergic reactions? Thanks,SJM*******************Steven J.
