I am also interested in this information as I am currently conducting a study that compares student population in chemistry labs to the frequency and type of incidents.

I thought I remembered seeing a recommendation from the Committee on Chemical Safety (CCS) for the safe number of students in college chemistry laboratories, but I can't locate it. Would someone please tell me where to find this?
