Since I work in biology labs during my lab ventilation presentations I spend a fair amount of time talking about Biological Safety Cabinets including laminar flow hoods (often used in non-biological "clean" operations) as well as recirculating and ventilated BSCs.. This may not be the right lecture to go into the details but I'd like to encourage you to at least touch on the subject that not all laboratory containment hoods are the same, serving different purposes and used to mitigate different hazards.
