Subject: Formaldehyde off-gassing from cadavers
Comments: To: SAFETY
Apologies for the liberal cross-posting: Reviewing plans for a renovated teaching space for human anatomy. Since the building is close by other buildings, we will conduct a wind tunnel study. I need to find out the amount of off-gassing of formaldehyde from cadavers preserved in 10% buffered formalin. There will be 24 cadavers stored on down-draft tables and approximately 10 more cadavers, wrapped in plastic, stored in a support space. I really don't know where to start so I thought I'd start with you guys. Help! Thanks, Debbie ------------------------ Debbie M.
