Subject: Explosion proof refrigerator
Group: We are having to replace the refrigerator in our chemistry lab, and the vice president of finance needs to know whether or not we truly need an explosion-proof unit. We have been offering only general chemistry (science majors' chem and GOB), but we anticipate adding a full-year organic course shortly, and if we need the explosion-proof refrigerator, now is the time to buy it, since our old (explosion-proof) fridge just died. Are there OSHA guidelines on this subject? If so, where can I find them? Dr. William Munsey Professor of Chemistry Blue Ridge (VA) Community College munseyw**At_Symbol_Here**brcc.edu
